Bishop Walter grew up in the small town of Pinewood, SC on a dairy farm. At the age of 14, he heard the call of the Holy Spirit into ministry and began his training immediately. He submitted to his spiritual father, Dr. Ray Ashmore, and began training in prophetic ministry with a hands-on approach that placed the young minister in front of hundreds of people before the age of 18.

At 18 years old, Bishop Walter enrolled in an intense discipleship program which took him away from his hometown for two years. While in this program, he had the opportunity to travel the country ministering to thousands of people, while being trained by some of the greatest men and women the Kingdom of God has ever seen!

Twenty years later, Bishop Walter leads Veritas Church, a church he and his wife, Monica, planted in 2013. Veritas Church is claimed by over 200 individuals who are challenged weekly to pursue growth and maturity in Christ. Veritas Church has become a beacon of hope for those who have been wounded and hurt by the church and church leadership in the past. He has established an atmosphere of freedom in which people are able to safely show their true selves without hiding their issues and wounds. He has created a leadership system that demands accountability and transparency while also being saturated with grace for those who stumble.

Bishop Walter built the church on the foundation of an active 5-fold ministry. Veritas was one of the first churches in the area that recognized, trained, established and encouraged the growth of proven apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, and evangelists. He has sons and daughters all around the country and has been sought after from around the world to help teach Kingdom Culture.

Bishop Walter has become a pastor of pastors and is active in the training of ministers and church leaders around the globe. He and his wife are also the founders and operators of multiple businesses and offer business consulting to local small businesses in the Sumter area.
